The Task Force for Veterans’ Entrepreneurship (formerly Task Force, now known as VET-Force) was organized in early 1999 to advocate for the development and passage of Public Law 106-50, the Veterans’ Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development Act of 1999, wherein Congress recognized the United States must provide additional assistance to veterans, particularly service-disabled veterans, with creating and expanding their own small businesses, thereby assisting them to “realize the American dream that they fought so hard to protect.” ALL MEMBERSHIP APPLICATIONS SHOULD BE FORWARDED TO Bob Hesser along with a copy of your DD214 at bhesser@vetrepreneur.com or to Lupe Saldana at Saldanalupe@aol.com. ALL NOMINATION FORMS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY NOVEMBER 18th TO John K. Lopez at JKL@asdv.org or Richard Daly at RichardD@pva.org or Bill Picard at B.Picard@Advancedenvironmental.net. NOTE: YOU MUST BE A MEMBER TO VOTE AND ALL EXISTING MEMBERS ARE ALSO ASKED TO COMPLETE AND SUBMIT A COPY OF THE NEW MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION ALONG WITH A COPY OF YOUR DD214. THEN ONCE THE NOMINATIONS HAVE BEEN FINALIZED – ALL BALLOTS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY DEC 5th. ALSO NOTE: DIRECTIONS FOR COMPLETING THE FORMS ARE LISTED ON THE ATTACHED FORMS.
